Continuing Medical Education- CME is an important academic activity of Al Shams Medical Group conducted under the name of Shams Medcon. In order to maintain good healthcare standards of international quality the UAE health authorities prescribe specified hours of compulsory attendance in training programmes and seminars for doctors and paramedical staff for renewal of their licenses every year.

Al Shams Medical Group has till now conducted 7 international CMEs of 2 days duration each. Eminent speakers in the UAE and abroad give lectures on various topics of interest to the practicing doctors. The topics are carefully chosen by a panel of doctors so that the delegates are updated about the recent advances of practical importance. Our CME programmes have already created a good impression among doctors and paramedics in the region and are well attended.Each time, Shams Medcon strives to improve the quality of the seminar in line with the stipulations of the health authorities of the nation.
